Translator

This is a volunteer seat for one year. No member of a TEDx organizing team may be paid, in any form — it is a condition of the license, not a budget decision.

• The Translator is responsible for translating TEDxShare e Naw’s written and spoken content accurately across Dari, Pashto, and English while preserving meaning, tone, and professionalism.
• Key Responsibilities:
• - Translate written materials, captions, announcements, and event content.
• - Support translation of talks, interviews, or subtitles when required.
• - Review translations for accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness.
• - Coordinate with the curation, content, and communication teams.
• - Ensure terminology and messaging remain consistent across languages.
• Preferred Skills: Strong proficiency in Dari, Pashto, and English, translation and proofreading skills, attention to detail, cultural awareness, teamwork, and time management.
